Smooshie needs new pet humans. (Fenton) in Fenton, Illinois

Smooshie is a very loving, adorable ?5 year old female cat. She is very affectionate and purrs like a motor boat when she gets attention. We found her in a box on our driveway with her mother and two brothers when she was several weeks old. We found homes for her brothers and Smooshie stayed with us. She is declawed (all four feet), is fixed, and has had her shots. She is healthy and has no health problems. She loves to play with her toy mice and catnip. She also likes to play inside any bag or box she can find. She does not like canned kitty food and has trained us to provide a clean litterbox for her. 
Some cats go off an do their own thing, but Smooshie likes to be around people and likes their attention. She likes to lounge around with her pet humans. She will follow me around at times to watch what I am doing. If I am sitting at the table paying bills, she will help by knocking some off the table so I don't have to pay them. When first lay down in bed at night, she will always jump up to say goodnight and get a couple pet pets.
One of her pet humans got a new job and now both of her pet humans are working all the time. She doesn't get to see them as often as she is used to and she is unhappy. 
So it is with extremely sad hearts we are now looking for a new home for her so she will be happy again. I think she would do well with older children but is not fond of babies. She hides when my grandkids are here.
